Subject line kind of says it all. Looking to get a stuff sack with out trial and error.
What’s a good size for this tarp?
Thank you

I don't have one, but you can fold it up and measure it (or, if you're a stuffer, stuff it inside any ol' sack and see what size/shape you can make it).
I will see if I have a stuff sack big enough for my 16 tomorrow and let you know.

Good suggestions, never thought about doing that. Guess I wasn’t seeing the tree’s through the forest when I asked this.
It’s still sitting folded up in the bag Kelty sent it in, but when “on the road” with it, I think I want to be a stuffer and only loosely fold it for storage.
Measure the storage bag. If it's rectangular, H*W*L. If it's a cylinder, pi * radius squared * height. Measure in cm to convert to liters. Figure you'll need to size up some since the factory fold is gonna be super tight and you'll never get out all the trapped air once you open it up.
Or, try stuffing into a plastic grocery store bag. They average about 8 liters.
That bombproof material really occupies space! I have a 12 and it's still about the size of a soccer ball in the included sack. I just use it for car camping (that was the intent, anyway) so never tried to pack it tighter.
I put a 12' in a cheap Coghlan's medium compression sack (15L I think) and cinch it down. Works great. I'm thinking a 16' would work but have not tried one.
I have both the 12 and 16', I keep them in the bags they came in. The 12 folds and then rolls, the 16 is a little tighter and takes precision folding, but it fits along with the stakes and tie out lines. Both are very good and have seen a lot of use.
