Stuff sack size for a Kelty 16

I tried to put it into a 10L stuff sack (biggest I have) and I could only get about 60-70% in. I was able to stuff it in an Osprey Daylight bag and it filled about 2/3 of the bag.

I have both the 12 and 16', I keep them in the bags they came in. The 12 folds and then rolls, the 16 is a little tighter and takes precision folding, but it fits along with the stakes and tie out lines. Both are very good and have seen a lot of use.

Yeah trying to just stuff it into a mesh bag for quick up/down on trips so that if it's wet it won't get mildewed until I can get it home and properly dried.

I don't think we can specify an exact timeframe for mildew given the variables, but I would guess weeks not days for that.

True - but I'd rather keep it in a mesh bag that gives it chance to start drying some, just in case.

Might look at packing cubes. They are mesh and come in different sizes.
