    Yeah trying to just stuff it into a mesh bag for quick up/down on trips so that if it's wet it won't get mildewed until I can get it home and properly dried.

    I don't think we can specify an exact timeframe for mildew given the variables, but I would guess weeks not days for that.

    True - but I'd rather keep it in a mesh bag that gives it chance to start drying some, just in case.

    Might look at packing cubes. They are mesh and come in different sizes.
