How to keep both you and your dog warm in a JRB bridge hammock LOL!

I just stumbled on this picture, from way back in 2009. I don't remember ever seeing it before, but I felt I needed to share it. It is the boys at JRB, apparently using one of their wearable TQs, well, just look at the pic:

I don't know how well that would have worked out for a long night, but I bet that dog named Bonnie was toasty warm at that moment! DGrav, were you there for that trip?

    That looks legit!
My friend was asking me recently about dogs and hammock camping. I recommended the Dutch Pup Tent as what looked the best to me. The one thing I was wondering is if he needs a pad for the dog. I figure yes, but does it become not so bad above certain temps to not bring one? And should he go with CCF or just a small blanket or what? He’s too big for in the hammock before you go there.

My dog Sam weighs in at 127 lbs and is just a little too big to share a hammock plus he does not like to be in them. I got him a Dutch pup tent that he will not use. Prefers to sleep under my hammock.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
