I have had good luck with the Costco Down Throws, take two of them and find your favorite pillow-case material (fleece-like), get a zipper sewn in, and stuff with two throws. Zipper placement will dictate the loft for your perfect - well not waterproof - solution. Works well.

    Doesn't that make for a 2lb pillow?

Version 2 is what I use. Super handy. About 2/3 full works like a charm for me.

I know you said inflatable....but....I picked up a down pillow from hammock gear, the little one with the string to keep it in place. That thing is super comfy, is always were I left it, its warm and it never leaves my hammock. It stuffs into the hammock stuff sack with no problems. I find myself wishing I had that little thing with me all the time. It makes falling to sleep fast for me. I also have a few air pillows including the stretch one from Vitals. They are not even close to the down pillow in comfort.
