This is my favorite blow up pillow. I can deflate it and get it in the stuff sack in about 30 seconds. I gave away all my other blow up pillows especially the Klymits. Those took forever to get back in the stuff sack.

I think I'm going to try out an inflatable neck/airplane pillow. For sleeping on the ground I don't know if I'll like it, but I think it might be just the ticket for a hammock where what I need is simply neck support rather than a whole wider pillow.
I have been using a klymit pillow x for a few years now. The X pattern keeps my head centered on the pillow. Weighs 2 oz
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I use a Sea To Summit Aeros pillow. I have 2 sizes, both ultralight. The trick is to find your sweet spot in regard to inflation. It will be a different inflation level with each hammock you use it in. I use a tee shirt to cover if I'm sweaty.
As a side sleeper, I'm going to put in a good word for the Klymit Cush. I use this as a leg pillow and the long skinny shape allows me to fold it up to the thickness I need with ease. Not a problem to put it back into its generously sized stuff sack.
Under my head, I am using the Nemo Fillo like many...spendy but worth it.
I've used a ton of different pillows and have settled on the C shape neck pillows as the best option for me. My go to is actually a Samsonite inflatable travelers neck pillow. It has a soft removable cover for washing and the basic plastic inflatable insert. I usually inflate it about 60% in the hammock and fully on the ground. If it should develop a leak, I have the option to throw my shirt or puffy in the cover and still have a decent pillow. It doesn't pack as small on it's own as some others, but it rides folded in half in the bottom of my quilt compression bag where it really isn't even noticeable. Just for reference, I have the bean shaped S2S (too big and slippery for hammock use), the S2S ultralite neck pillow (weird shaped and too thin behind the neck), 2 of the Trekology inflatable bean shaped pillows (great for ground, no good in the hammock), and a Swiss Gear Ultra-lite travel neck pillow that is a very close second to my Samsonite (lighter/smaller actually, but fits better in my work backpack so that's where it lives). I also have some really old school flannel over Qualofil Slumberjack pillows that my daughter and wife like in the hammock and on the ground. They are too bulky/heavy for me to pack anymore, but they are comfortable and I used them as a teen decades ago when there weren't so many better alternatives on the market. They're still made and mine are 30+ years old and going strong so I guess that says something for them.
I tried multiple inflatable pillows, S2S, Thermarest, Camplite, etc - and never could get comfortable. Finally bit the bucket on a HG standard down pillow and found perfection (for me)! Was very reluctant to go with the down, but it provides me the perfect amount of neck support at a very light weight!! YMMV

I just got an Outdoor Vitals inflatable pillow and took it on a week-long hike and I liked it. I'm still using a sleeping bag, so it fits in the mummy hood nicely and stays put all night. It popped up on a YouTube ad a few weeks ago and I got it for $9 shipped.
