    Hello from Missouri

    Hello everyone,

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the forum. I've been using hammocks for camping since 2012. Better late than never to the forum i guess. I hope to learn from whoever I can here and maybe I can pass along some perspective I've gained in my own journeys. I look forward to sharing this hobby we love here.

Welcome from a fellow Missourian. I don't think the learning ever stops and I'm sure you'll pick up some useful info on the forums here.

Eidson, where do you like the go in MO? I'm looking to do Mark Twain National Forest soon, near petosi.

Most of my hammocking is done on either private land or along the rivers in our state and Arkansas. Lots of great hanging opportunities when floating our rivers and the Buffalo River in Arkansas. I guess I'm mostly a floating/camping hammocker.
I know there have been a few threads pop up here on the forums with discussions of good trails in our area, some even recently. Might give a quick search as they'll likely be able to give better advice on our trail systems.

I spent so much time down in southern Missouri as a kid. My family would float and camp the white River and eleven point river frequently.
