i think step one is just to see if you can match the zipper somehow. if you can't do that, you'll need to find a new way to make it work

Well I suppose all else failing I could just order a replacement Draumr screen and reuse the zipper. Hey that gives me an idea. Sew a tarp piece over it and the screen becomes a backing. Might even have room for a thin layer of insulation in between.

Are you using that in the XL Shug? Or the original Draumr?

exped makes nice pads, for sure

I'm got the synthetic version (synmat 9). they fill out the pocket of the draumr very nicely

that does sound like the easiest way to make it happen.

I can't sew so it would be nice if Amok made a winter cover as an option.

One of the benefits pf my chrysalis bridge hammock is the waterproof sleeve / cover that has vents with stiffeners to allow moisture to escape

I was in the Army before the days of Velco insignia so I do know how to sew. It won't be pretty but it will pass inspection!

I exchanged emails with Didrik and invited him to this thread so we'll see.
