This ad popped up on FB... I'm tempted to order one just to see if it shows up and do a review on it but I don't want to replicate someone else's work. I don't think i'd take it backpacking but it looks like it could work as a car camping setup if it doesn't rip in two the first time you lay on it.

It's a scam site. They are advertising a kickstarter product that isn't even on the market yet and sells for $285. The actual owner/designer has been busy having more than 20 of those scam sites shut down lately.

Wow! That’s a nice-looking scam. Sadly, people will be fooled. If it ain’t reasonable, it’s probably a scam.

It seems they are relying on fake URL proliferation - as soon as one fake URL gets shut down they already have another two or three ready to go. And when those URLs get shut down, they've got more just waiting. It's a tough time for gullible people: they used to only get scammed on Amazon (there's a "supposedly new" hammock company every day, selling the same old cheap foreign-made ENO clones), but now they're all over Facebook too!

Yup. The internet can be a double edged sword... making it cost next to nothing for some really incredibly innovative people to present their products to a global audience, but also makes it too easy for any dips*** with a computer to, near anonymously, scam people out of their hard earn green.
If it "looks too good to be true", it probably is... and no less truer today than when first coined back in 1580.
Fun story, I reported 1 link on FB and within 4 minutes I had another link to the fake product.
