I have 2 wbbb xlc that the wife and I use. I have a 20° ugq and she has a 20° hg both regular legnth and width. They will NOT stay in position. I have had help getting them on, and adjusted but nothing has worked so far.
How do I make them work?

I suffered forever with that problem. Had fellow hangers with much more experience than I adjust the under quilt while I was in the hammock. That night was no different than any other, quilt kept falling down and off my shoulder.
Now, after hanging my quilt, I bring up the suspension from both sides near where it's attached to the head/foot of my hammock and tie them together on the top of the hammock. For me, problem solved!
Livin’ Large ~ Horizontally
use a small piece of shock cordwith mitten hooks or such on each end
make 2 just in case
clip to under quilt then up and around ridge line then back down to other end and clip to quilt
that shoul hold everything just where you put it
Do you mean it is sagging or that it is sliding off your shoulder or feet? Or is it sliding vertically in line towards your foot or your head?
Anyone try kam snaps?
