What is a netless chair? I can tell you a lot about the 2T's chair but have never heard of a netless chair.
OK, I looked it up on Dutch's site and think I have the answer. The 2T's chair is treated so it can be used as a pack cover in addition to the chair function. Dutch's site also claims you can use it for a wash basin and mini tarp as well. It's a couple ounces heavier than the Netless but the tradeoff seems to more versatility. If all you want is a hammock chair or gear hammock, the Netless will probably fill the bil. If you're willing to spend a bit more cash and want to use the chair for the water-related purposes (pack cover, minitarp, wash bin), opt for the 2T's. I have the 2Ts and really like it-especially at lunch time when I string it up in chair mode enjoy some time off my feet and in camp when I beckett hitch it on to the tag ends of my tree straps to make a gear hammock to keep all my stuff easily accessible.
Interested if anyone has used it for a dog hammock. I have never used a pad in a hammock but think a pad would help entry and exit in hammock for dog. Do I need to order a double layer netless chair to use pad or could I use pad in the 2T so I can keep its versatility?
