If any of you are interested, I plan on making a short overnight backpacking trip sometime before this hang, hopefully right after the first big snowfall. Laurel Mill is a pretty tame trail and would be easy to use a pulk. 4.65 miles total both days - Elk Scout and Hemlock loops clockwise.

When there is snow on the trail, hikers should not walk in ski tracks....Skiiers cannot ski over your footprints.

Awww, poor babies. Does look like a nice spot though; on my todo list.

I think I'm actually free that weekend. Kids kept me busy over the summer I haven't got out much.

I've been way too busy the last year or so myself, work mostly. Rumor has it we are not working anymore weekends for a few months, hope it's true.

Ya works been crazy too. We've been short handed since July and in two weeks I'll be the only person there. Have managed to get some trips in tho. I'll be in oil Creek this weekend with our scout troop. I'm excited for some cold weather.

I will come up and visit if the roads are good. I hate driving in the snow. I know I won't be staying overnight as I don't have the equipment to do so.

I have found all those caches across the road. Good time except for sweating to death...lol. I don't know if finding them in the winter will be easy or even doable.
