    Quilt Combos

I'm looking at grabbing an in-stock top quilt to pair with a 20° HG UQ. I've gone down to 25-30 with just a cheapo blanket, but was cold. Will a 30° or 40° be too much for fall weather with this combo, or cold summer nights?

Also, any other places with in-stock TQ's worth checking other than Hammock Gear?

For Fall weather a 30º or 20º may work better.
Jacksrbetter always has quilts in stock as well.

UGQ also offers Fast Trak -- ships 2/3 days.

You've got a good list started... HG, UGQ, Jacks-R-Better .....

I use a 20* down quilt if I think it's going under 55*, mostly because it weighs the same or less, breaths better and packs the same as my 40* degree synthetic. 55 is my break point because that is a far as I like to stretch my Costco blanket.

If your thinking of the jrb 20 degree top quilt, I have a like new one I may be selling. Also, HG has a 15% off on in stock quilts, but most of the ones left are b stock.

Actually was able to grab a Hammock Gear Economy from their in-stock list without an irregularity and the coupons. Went 20°, will see how it works out. My end game is to have a summer set of quilts as well, so this rounds me out for all but the dead of winter.

    Thanks all!

Did you get that orange and black one (I think that was the color)? It was the only 20 degree premium I saw with no irregularities. I went back in later to buy it and it was gone

I have a set of 20 degree and 40 degree quilts. I have used the 20’s in spring/fall and the 40’s in summer. Also, when I have taken a friend out and he’s needed to quilts for his hammock we have split them up-we each get a 20 and 40 degree quilt (i prefer to have the warmer UQ with the cooler TQ. For the few occasions when I have done some winter overnights, I end up stacking the quilts together to keep me warm. I figured this was a cheaper alternative instead of buying a set of 0 degree quilts (but they are always on my wish list).
