Yeah, I probably won't have time to do any camping in December, but I'm looking forward to the group hang in January or February, once the 2020 schedule is decided.

I understand the park office is closed on Friday.
Well, I gave Valens a call this morning and they confirmed that on Fridays the front gate is usually closed as the staff are out and about in the park. Access is by means of the permit machine and requires a valid credit card.

Nah. No fancy cooking this time.
    Just peasant food.
No signs,no fees,no rules, nobody. My kind of campsite.

    Hello,

Thank you to everyone who showed up to the Valens hang and was able to share food and some laughs. It was a great hang as always and I won’t need to eat for a week!

I seem to have left my billy pot at the campsite. It is in one of those green cordura bags and should was sitting on the picnic table with the double burner. If anyone happened to pick it up I thank you. If you could pm me or let me know who may have it so I can pick it up that would be great. Thank you

Hope to see you all at the next hang.

It was there on the table when I left. Someone would have picked it up. Giblets or Highboy are likely to have been the last to leave.

That was a genuine hoot. So glad I actually got to stay in an actual hammock with you all, this time!

apparently "dam" with an "n" on the end is too colourful for this website.

Yup, I've got it. Lucky for you I already have a pot that size.

Isn't it ironic, don't ya think, Ya get two new stoves, and have no pot to cook with...

I also picked up a long sea to summit Al spork, and Traycer's cutting board and bluetooth temp logger.
