Never used Spider. Isn't spider lighter?

I'm happy with kevlar and the becket is easy enough.

Welp...I ordered my new BlackbirdXLC and two 20ft straps from Warbonnet the other day.
Another 2 weeks and I'll be rolling with the new system and selling the old blackbird.
I've decided to go with the Strap\Beckett\CL system this time around and see how it goes.
If I don't like it I can put carabiners on the CLs and the cinch buckles onto the straps.

    Thanks everyone!!

Spider Web 1.5 is 1.5 grams per foot for the 1" width.
Kevlar is usually in the range of 1.9 - 3.3 grams per foot for 1" width.

Dutch had 2.2 and 3.3 Kevlar but currently seems to have only 3.3.
AutumnUltralight was selling 1.9 Kevlar but doesn't seem to carry Kevlar at all at the moment.

Sorry, English not my native language,I would like to help. But from what I read I cannot understand how you have problems to connect whoopie to tree straps and other end of whoopie sling to CL from hammock.

    pic for reference

You can attach fixed loop of whoopie to a tree strap with becket hitch, and adjustable loop of whoopie attach to end of the hammock via carabiner or softshackle(I prefer them).
    Have you tried it ?

And one thing - if you found your tree strap are to short just use dogbone to extend it and then connect other part of dog bone via larkshead knot or carabiner or softshackle to whoopie sling.
