Thanks for speaking for me Silvr.

Shug keeps all the gear he reviews if someone asks Shug to review it. Then I will sometimes give it away on a You Tube Give-Away. Usually to Scouts.

Or use the gear as loaners to friends.
Just to you know, I turn down more offers than I ever accept and I NEVER reach out to anyone to get product. They ALL approach me.
I like to show Cottage Gear product as most folks that are not on HF may never know it exists.
Yes...I just copied and pasted the onewind Amazon link. That link is in no way an "affiliate" link and I am in no way receiving a "kick back" from onewind. The video I posted in the OP is nothing more than an unboxing and demonstration video showing an interested customer what they will get if the order one. This is something that I enjoy doing as one of my MANY hobbies, hence the YouTube Channel, The Dabbler's Den. I DO like the hammock and think it is a step up from what we have come to expect from Amazon...THAT is my honest opinion and review.

I had no idea this would turn into a cross examination of my character, but here we are...is there anything else the forum would like to know about me?
Don't take it too harshly. There are some who just can't resist overwhelming someone new on here.
I say...do want you want and show any hammock you want.
If you take time to do videos and post them and show gear then good for you. If you get something for it then Good. If that is not your purpose then just do it for fun.

Ouch, hot thread.

In someone(s) defense I don't think anyone is being a xenophobe. The fact that 99.9% of this stuff (other than some cottage vendors) comes out of China, that's just the fact. I'm sure no one has anything against specific people. What else do people think? Irish hammocks? Hungarian hammocks? When a country produces such a high volume of goods, some will be good and some will be bad. Unfortunately they just get a bad rap from the handful of bad.

It takes time to do it. Don't feel bad. You are putting stuff out there. It takes time.

Also, for someone to come to HF of all places and post almost exclusively about hammocks that most members would not purchase/would not be interested in because of their quality, length, and that they already own superior hammocks, etc makes me immediately suspect.

I could be wrong. I don't think I am. I don't really care, but this thread is devolving even further and now just getting awful.
Again with the 'shill' and my post history...did you read any of those posts, or watch any of my videos???

Well that is a mighty big assumption on your part. I was not aware that you knew what my interest are. I was also unaware that HF was an exclusive club only open to those who purchase hammocks form only select vendors of your choosing.

Forgive me for not understanding that HF is not really here to support all aspects of hammocks.

STOP! One more post on this thread that is bigoted, name calling, or demeaning will get everyone who's posts I have deleted and/or edited a "cool off" vacation from HF. Get it back on the topic of the hammock posted not on the language one speaks or the name calling going on. This is the ONLY warning before the hammer comes out.
