    Hello from south Mississippi

Have not camped since I was in my 20's, 40 now. and that usually consisted of a sand bar and lots of adult beverages. I found myself down the Youtube rabbit hole about 3 nights ago. Saw people now camp in hammocks. I was like what. Saw the Warbonnet Blackbird and decided on getting it.

    Wooki Length:

ordered a UGQ Xl Bandit topquilt. Think it was a 20 degree and bought the 84" one.

Got a pack I can use to tote it all, I need to know one thing what is the best way to do coffee while camping? I have stopped the adult beverages now but replaced it with a big coffee addiction.

Thanks for the site, I have learned a lot already. See some stuff I need to order already. Well a lot of stuff if I'm being honest. Yall have a blessed day and be safe out there.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new gear. As far as coffee goes, it can be instant, or pour over. If you are totally against instant then check out this search as the pics will explain more than I can. Search for: pour over coffee backpacking

Welcome from another south Mississippi hiker/hanger. We are talking about organizing a south Mississippi hang at Airie Lake when it gets a little cooler. I am on the gulf coast.

As for coffee, I use a Jetboil stove. It comes with a coffee press. It's very easy to use. Everything, including fuel canister fits in the pot.

Thanks yall, I will keep an eye out for the gathering. I don't know anyone who camps so would be great if I could make it. About the coffee, I think I am going to order that pour over and try it at home while waiting on my gear.
