Hi All,
Just wanted to thank absolutely everyone for such a wonderful time at this year's hang. We had really beautiful weather and nice cool temps Friday night, Saturday was spectacular with such brilliant blue skies. My favorite part was looking up to the tops of the trees and seeing the brilliant blue sky juxtaposed with the red and gold from the maples and the green from the pines. It was so fine that I was able to sleep without the tarp over me which is a great rarity in these parts. So nice to wake up and see stars at night. Lowest temp was 34 degrees per Mike.
We had great folks at the hang and met some new folks (Welcome Rob and Karen)! We took hikes and mountain bike rides or just relaxed by the fire. Saturday's potluck was yummy with beef stew, Thai green curry pork and string beans, stuffed pepper soup, hamburger and rice and pasta puttanesca.
Thanks all for pitching in and making the hang such fun. Kudos to Elmo and Jim for setting up the tripod and everyone who scoured the woods to get the tripod wood.
