I went and looked at the POW camp a few days ago as I have never been there. Personally I think I like Airey better.

Hey Tuxhiker hate to hear about the phone issues earlier this year. We were there just after the shutdown. It would have been February 9, 10, and the 11th I believe. I agree with you guys though that Airey seems a better location for hangs. The grass was a bit high around the POW lake and I left covered to my knees with grass burrs. I'm still picking them off my gear! Airey always seems better maintained and I think there's more hanging opportunities there.

I think I saw yall at Airey when I was out hiking but didn't know about the hang. Yall were behind the lake I think. I hope we can do it again.i want to see other setups. Mine has some room for improvement. For one thing, I haven't separated the tarp from the hammock and I want a new tarp. I also have a fun hammock chair to bring.

Now that's it's getting cooler, are we ready to start planning the soon-to-be awesome Airey hang?

Maybe familyman and medicpathetic will see this and chime in. Both were looking for an opportunity to hang with a group. I will try to lure my son. I got him an inexpensive hammock which he has never used. I think food might lure him to join us.
