    This is a nice idea and should help a lot of hangers but issues like this are the very reason I moved to my Warbonnet Ridgerunner

    Using a Tensa4 stand doesn't really change how much higher a person would want the foot end of their hammock than the head end - but part of the beautiful simplicity of the stand design is that tilting it to keep it from taco-ing provides that head/foot height relationship at the same time. With that in mind, this device would work just the same whether setting up on the stand or between trees. Either way, using it to set the ridgeline angle will give you a consistent head/foot height differential each time you set up.

    Thank you that's what I thought but every once in a while there's a variable I hadn't considered
