sling rings and Warbonnet whoopie slings

I bought some nice and inexpensive rings recommended here. https://www.slingrings.com/

Didn't realize I would have trouble figuring out how to get it attached to my WBRR and WBBB (traveler actually) because i have whoopie slings that attach to caribeeners for my suspension. Any solutions out there for me?
    Thanks,
    ~Terrence

Which suspension option did you get?
If you got continuous loops, that go through hammock channel ends, and are attached with a larks head, to hammock. Then you can attach a ring to continuous loop.
Place continuous loop through metal ring. Spread continuous loop open, enough to slide back over top of metal ring. Pull continuous loop tight.
You should now, have just made a larkshead onto metal ring with continuous loop.
Now you can larks head whoopie sling to ring.

If you didn’t choose suspension option with continuous loops, then buy or make two continuous loops about 6 to 8 inches long. Attach them to hammock channel ends. And proceed as above.

    Good luck!

Not clear to me how the whoopie sling can be adjusted if you do this (?)

Maybe turn whoopie sling around and larks head to fixed loop on other end of whoopie sling.
    I dunno
Not sure how all these components look and fit together.
Trying to help, but might be muddying the waters.

I think I’ll have a small mug of coffee.

One of my weaknesses on Forums, is I don’t post photos or drawings. My shame is, I’ve been given step by step instructions for these skills.

Good pix and sketches would be especially helpful in this thread!

I try to overcome this failing with accurate word pictures of my thoughts. But sometimes there a bunch of fall leaves and pine needles instead of brain matter in my noggin!

Your whoopie should have two loops/eyes on it, one on each end. The Eye of the Whoopie, is also larks headed onto the ring. The ring is a great water break between the whoopie and the continuous loop on the hammock. The other eye of the whoopie is attached to your tree straps. The whoppie works like they do, constrictor.

I skip ring, and skip whoopie sling.
Use a continuous loop extending from hammock end channel, larks head continuous loop to cinch hammock end.
I use a hammock weight rated carabiner to attach continuous loop to Dutch spider web straps that have a loop every three inches. The loops are inconspicuous, looking like one layer of tree strap.
I think my old Dutch spider web straps were slightly more grams and 1500 test instead of 1000 test strength.

    What no water break?!?!?

I use excess strap to form a loose slip knot that hangs in a U shape on suspension. This strap hanging down in a U shape is an effective water break.

This suspension has fewer parts and is close to lighter weight suspensions.

I see that now working with a marlinspike hitch on the strap and the adjustable loop toward the tree. I couldn't imagine how it could work with the whoopie larksheaded to the strap.

I'm one of those who likes to disconnect any suspension from the CL.

    > What no water break?!?!?

I recall one video that asserted putting a few twists in the webbing or daisy chain as it came off the tree to the hammock creating a natural water break. I don't have enough "rain" experience to test that specific solution out. But I have been in the rain a few times and never had a "water running down the line" problem. I don't use drip lines, so either the rings or twists are doing their job.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

Isn't that 'biner a water break?

Yes carabiner is water break, but since excess strap is there, I use it to make additional water break.
And I don’t want excess strap on ground, where I might step on it.
