    Thanks for sharing the video!

Small world that it is, I was in the area last week and met Scott at the trailhead where he left his car and was waiting for his shuttle. We had a nice chat before his ride arrived.

I had wondered if you were up there somewhere, since the State Fair is over.

Thanks for the wildlife, mushrooms, vegetation and the sight and sound of running water, raindrops too. Nice video!

Another fine video. I have heard previously that Andy Creek campsite was not very hammock friendly, so it was great to see that you made it work.

I'm new to both backpacking and hanging and keep running across your videos, which I've learned a lot from! Hopefully my first hang will be a success.

I keep thinking though that you (Shug) is the guy who taught me how to juggle in Madison, WI in the early 90's--any chance that was you? Would have been like Witte Hall, or perhaps some other semi-public gymnasium in that area of town.

Serendipitous. He was a nice and seemed on a spiritual quest.

Hoping to see more mushrooms but saw a lot of grouse.

It was a tight hang but made it work. Prepared to go to ground if needed but sure did not want to.

Not sure that was me in Madison as I have not spent too much time there but was at the Juggling Fest there years ago. Did hat tricks with some folks.

Thanks Shug for the cool video. I did a section hike of the PCT in August and met lots of thru hikers. Very inspiring to hear their stories.

I really enjoyed this one! The SHT is on my bucket list of trails. That was very cool of you running into Annie Nelson. You made her blog! I've been following her NCT adventures on her webs and YouTube sites Wild Stories, since she's covered a lot of the same ground I have in Michigan.

That first pic is a crown tipped coral mushroom. They look freaky but are one of the tastiest edibles.

It's a fun side hobby for hikers but never eat wild mushrooms without cooking them and being 100% sure what they are. Also, make sure it is legal to pick them where you hike.

Great Vid. I so enjoy the Lake Superior area. Spent the first two weeks of September on Madeline Island north and east of Duluth, off of the mainland near Bayfield WI. Did a lot of hiking along the big lake. It gives respite to my soul.
