    Im a big fan of saying screw it, if you are comfortable. With that said, I also didn't realize when I first got my BB that it is intentionally designed for the foot end to be significantly higher than the head in order to make you lay almost all the way into the head end. May help.

    That is just extra "room" that you aren't using...better loose than tight, tight will compress the end of your topquilt/sleeping bag
