My hammock stuff sack is oversized too. It’s Dyneema and very light. Why should I I have to work hard getting a tarp or hammock into a too small tight stuff sack?
Although I don't use many stuff sacks, for the ones I do use this is absolutely true. Much easier to put stuff into the sack, and also the whole package is far more malleable and better utilizes space inside the pack when it smooshes down and fills in small gaps.

I used a stuff sack, single or double, various sizes, for years and in the rare times I had to deal with setting up in the wind - I'm taking WIND, not summer breeze - the score was Wind 2, Cougrarmeat 0. I had to bail from that location or (car camping) use the cottent. After reading many forum posts and making some dogbones to use as tails for the ends of my tarp, I tired snakeskins. Easy-peasy. Could suspend the tarp, then side just half of it open and stake it out, then open the other half and do the same. It wouldn't matter if it a single or double sleeve. That same controlled exposure to wind forces was available.

It's handy to be able to have the tarp suspended but not deployed (staked out). If you don't need it, have no worries about birds/pine cones, and a full moon isn't shinning directly in your eyes, then you might have (depending upon tree canopy) a nice view of the sky.

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

I have had an HG CF 11' tarp with doors for about 6 years now. I have always stored by rolling it up with my guylines, sliding it into my CF sleeves, then coiling/stuffing it into the CF stuff sack that came with it. Whenever I deploy it, I check for wear and tear and to date it is still as beautious as the day I got it. It's pretty resilient stuff. FWIW.

I'm surprised Hammock Gear said to fold it since the video they have on snake skins say to roll Dyneema.

If you are folding it randomly, it would be fine. Folding it the same way each time will crease it and that's no bueno.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
