Been thinking about doing something in the winter, figuring on a backpacking trip through the cold up here in PA. I work retail and it is slow that time of year. I also have like 9 vacation days that roll over to next year. I am really considering the long drip down now.

I am a racing fan and really considering this combined with the 24 Hours of Daytona the following weekend

As everyone is packing and making plans for coming to Hangcon, please keep these items in mind.

    1. A canned food for donation to our camp host. Something that you would want to eat.
    2. A 2 liter soda, tea, fruit punch etc. to add to our communal drink table. Or some coffee, hot tea, hot Chocolat, etc.
    3. Personal utensils that you can reuse. Any less trash we can use the better, plus what little we do have gets used up fast. Let's be good stewards and not make any more trash than we have to.

    Hello all.

It's great to see all the new faces coming for the first time.
Dan from Michigan, I signed you up and your 2 friends. You're now all three bonafide.

    Thanks, Pheonix, for the reminder.
I have a lot of empty boxes that I hope we can fill with canned goods for our food drive. They will be on the porch at sign in and also near the stage (right side of the lodge) if you forget to bring with you at sign up.

Remember to sign up at the lodge as the first thing you do when you arrive. Park at the lodge, come around to the front(side facing the lake) to sign in, then go find your homesite for the weekend.

Let me know if the fire isn't big enough to warm you. I can help you with that.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

A lot of folk make this their vacation. And they are well payed in memories, full bellies and even some wonderful items won at the raffle.
I would second your choice to come down here.

I THINK the boss approved me going with and I'm stoked thinking about it. The excitement is building seeing all these posts too.
Looking forward to starting off 2020 with some fantastic people.

I want to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable and beautiful and afraid of nothing
