Oh and I noticed a vow renewal ceremony....I can do marriage ceremonies if anyone wants to jump the gun
Just requested my 12 days off! If it goes through, driving down from PA!
I got my request off. Weather permitting, I will be there, since I am driving 1,000 miles from up north. Any recommendations on what to do for a couple days after this and before the 24 Hours of Daytona? Backpack the Florida Trail maybe?
The Ocala portion of the Florida Trail is certainly one of its prettiest sections. Alexander Springs, Juniper Springs, and Hidden Pond are some of my favorite destinations.
And the little spurs off of the FT like going to the Sinkholes and climbing down into them.
Well then. Looks like we have 3 weeks and we will be gathered around a nice big fire pit or inside the lodge by the fireplace. Maybe sipping on some shine or getting a wonderful hot meal from the awesome camp cooks.
Can't wait to get there and see yall again.
And don't forget to bring a canned or packaged good for our food drive. Thanks in advance.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
I'm lookin' at the clock and it's getting closer and closer to the cutoff for the extra special, never better, limited time only deal on raffle tickets. The stroke of midnight on 12/31, as timestamped by PayPal, is the deadline to get your Raffle tickets with the extra good karma and the extra good extra ticket.
Each and every $20 you send (via PayPal, as a gift to a friend please!) to Gumbo at <[email protected]> before the cutoff will get you six, COUNT'EM: SIX raffle tickets instead of the usual five. NO LIMIT!! Get as many as you think it'll take!
When you PayPal funds, it is important to tell us in the notes section how much is a donation to HangCon for the super hero level good karma and how much is for raffle tickets.
And THANK YOU extra much for your early support!!

So many trees, so little time...
If you're coming from way up north, and hoping for some warm Florida sunshine, I've got good news.
If you're from Florida and hoping for another HangCon record cold, the news isn't as cheery.
If you're just hoping for beautiful clear days, perfect for getting out into the piney woods, the news is especially cheery.
But, as they say, it's weather - if you don't like it, wait a few minutes...
Weather Underground's long range predictions are for clear skies with lows in the low 50s and highs in the mid 70s.
