I've heard many folk from similar areas carpool on their way down to help with gas. Some from different states.
Just trying to help where I can. It truly is a wonderful event and I would like for you to enjoy it as well.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Woo Buddy !
Wife's on board and we are going to our first HangCon! We'll be in the ground dweller area since we are just starting to gear up. Wife is eager to checkout the different hammock styles to find one that works for her. Feel free to grab us and put us to work. We enjoy helping out. My 3 kids will be there too and have already told me what colors they want their hammocks to be. (Thank goodness I know how to sew so DYI is an option)
WOOHOO! This made my day. I have really missed my extended family, and Doe Lake!!! Lets see, only a 17 hour drive, so worth it!
If you start hiking on Friday or Saturday morning, you should make it by Thursday, January 16, 2020.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
I just checked my frequent flyer points and it looks like I have plenty to be able to come again this year. I'll sign up when I know I can get the time off.

wbJohn- hope you can make it all the way from MA.
So far we have lilricky coming from TX.
Last year we had Latherdome come from WA. I believe that was the farthest traveler to HangCon. Who will come from the West side of USA this year? Or Northern USA? Canada? Caribbean Islands? Europe?
Time will tell...
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Part of the reason we procrastinate putting the thread up is that I start missing you all and can't wait to see you. January is too far off!!!
