Ridgeline with stretch according to the fabric

I'm wondering if you would have a hammockfabrik that stretches for example 25%.

Would you also like to have a stretchy ridgeline with 25% stretch or stay with the dyneema <1% stretch?

Do you think it makes sense to have the numbers near to each other?

Doesn't make sense to me. You don't want stretch in your ridgeline.

Once it has stretched, the ridgeline is essentially the same as a non-stretchy ridgeline of that slightly longer length, except inconsistent, unpredictable, and will probably keep stretching slowly. Instead, just make a non-stretchy ridgeline at the length that you want it for the hammock, taking the stretch of the fabric into account.
