    Exactly. A great leap forward in whoopie science. The leap of knowledge and understanding to make this new and improved whoopie is mind-boggling. To combine that with making the eye 1" long instead of 4" is pure genus.

    The original whoopie/UCR idea is pretty clever but almost everything past that is just messing around.

    I'm not using whoopies now, but I found that at about 170lb I had no problem at all with a 5" bury, so combining that with the bury close to a very small fixed eye (or no fixed eye... J-bend straight to CL) resulted in a whoopie that could be shortened to less than a foot.
