    Stacking UQ thermal rating

    If stacking underquilts, is the thermal/temp rating cumulative or an average of the quilts?

    I've got 0, 20 and 40 degree sets and I was amazed at the temp ratings after I used the EE charts to see how they worked together.

    This enlightened equipment guide should give you a clue.

    So stack a 50* with a 50* and you'll theoretically be able to get down to 30* F.

    Thanks, this exactly what I was looking for.

    Wanting to do some fall camping and wanting to keep my backside warm. I can always adjust the top cover, but the (my) bottom needs to be warm!
