How heavy would be a Trail Winder underquilt for around 10°F ?
Peppy has started to answer my question, but it seems the SLD website has been updated (or I haven't read everything the first time !) :

"Weight will vary depending on options chosen, but average weight for standard length Argon 90 is 16 oz in the Apex 3.6 oz Insulation, 19.5 oz in the 5.0, 22 oz in the 6.0, 25 oz in the 7.5 and 30 oz in 10.0"

This is very interesting : not so heavy, actually.

    Hello,

For the record, I've ordered a Trail Winder last September, 7.5 oz, 10'. I've used it many nights so far with my Trail Lair. One word : perfect !
Once the shock cord is tensed correctly, This UQ is like a part of the hammock itself. I sleep like in my bed (I've also ordered a pillow from SLD : the bed feeling is now complete ! )
I haven't tested the temperature limits yet, didn't have time for this the coldest days. Anyway this winter was incredibly warm in France. The temperature limit for 7.5oz climashield is annonced at 10°F. I've slept a couple of nights around 30°F, I've never been cold.

To compare with my Cumulus Selva, I've got the feeling I have to "warm up" the Trail winder climashield first to feel comfortable, when the Selva down is almost instantly hot. But once it's done (within minutes, of course, not hours !) it's ok for the night.

    Be well, folks !
