This trip should be no problem once you hit the Ohio border as it is a designated river trail with designated camping sites. Maumee River Trail website/
    Maumee River Trail Brochure

I'm looking to do a similar thing in SW Ohio on the Little Miami River.

Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

It's worth a try, but in today's overly sensitive world, you could end up on a list...

I think expanding your camping opportunities with kayaking and packrafting is a good thing. It will open you up to new adventures!

The Brule down through the Menominee to Lake Michigan at Marinette/Menominee would be a nice clean stretch. A few portages involved.

It's the border betwixt UP of MI and Wi. Some beautiful spots and a lot of recreation sites and public land.
Nafooey... what's in a name. Lough Nafooey is near the isthmus between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib in County Galway, Ireland. This is my ancestral home. While touring a few years ago I followed the road from Clonbur along the shore of Lough Nafooey. It was the most picturesque drive I have ever taken. That experience will stay with me forever.

Sounds good! I'll definitely need to try some new trips after this one. I still don't have a good reason for doing this...I think it's mostly just:
