    Adjusting HG Incubator

Just wanted to confirm a couple things for adjusting my HG Econ Incubator that I purchased earlier this year.

    1. After attaching to my hammock, should I tightened both line locks on the ends so the UQ is slightly lifting up the hammock?
    2. Are you supposed to tighten the line locks a little more on your head and foot ends? I tried this a couple times and it seems then my feet will pop out from the UQ. If I get them back in then my shoulder will sometimes be exposed. Recently I tried leaving all the secondary suspension loose and just tightening the draft collars. This seemed to work better however it was a warm enough night that any small drafts were not a problem.

From the Great Shug, I found THIS to be dead bang on. I can't, and I don't think anyone else could, improve on this.

lol, well when it comes to adjusting an Incubator, if you're ever seen Shug's tutorial, that is the automatic go-to!

Yeah, I have watched it previously. Maybe I was over tightening the secondary on my foot and head ends which caused it to pop off.

Yes, overtightening the secondary shock cords is a common mistake, which I also made at first. It's a 'Goldilocks' thing that has to be just so. Colder weather will help you figure out if it's too tight or too loose, but feet/head popping out does point to too tight.

Yes....the primary should be the tighter of the two. Secondary “pulls” it. There is a sweet spot.

Same here. And worse, over tightening the ends (smallest cinch cords). That just let cold air rush right in.
