I hope you guys managed to eventually cannibalize poor Wilson. I thought he'd make a nice treat on a hot day near the end of the trip. Busy weekend. Still typing.

Looks like a great trip. I'm planning on one "bigger" trip next year (as in length and drive time). Would you guys be open to me joining if you do this again?

Seeing those lightweight (or not?) canoes I'm not sure my kayak would be doable. How long is the longest portage? And how many are there?

Can’t speak on the portages but I can say you would be more than welcome on any of our trips.

Portages from Hartley Bay to the lake vary, but most are short. Our trip down the Eastern Outlet consisted of only two back-to-back portages of 10m and 50m respectively and we easily manhandled a full loaded kayak over both.

As for tagging along, as Bubba mentioned, everyone's welcome.

    Sorry bout that!

I'll try to stick to the canoe.
The kayak was the superior vehicle for those waters though...
