Hammock light for comfort and safety

Lawson GloWire tie outs, most certainly.

For a hammock light, I have a ridgeline organizer and to one of the loops, tied "permanently," is one of these cheapo keychain LED lights:

Metal removed, tied on with 6" of reflective shock cord. Squeeze on, squeeze off; not the momentary type. Easy to find at night just by sliding my hand down the ridgeline. Incredibly cheap, incredibly light, incredibly useful. When the battery dies I'll cut it off and tie on a new one.

I clip a Luci on my ridgeline, it has served me well for inside lighting (I use the same setup with my tent). I use one of the smaller ones, it doesn't take much space in the pack and it's been reliable so far.

One of the things I did start doing at night is clipping a small LED on one or two of my tie-outs, closer to the ground. When I hop out in the middle of the night for a quick trip to the woods, it helps me keep an eye on where camp is (and the trip wires) without needing to shine my headlamp too much. I probably should look into using reflective lines.
