    NEW SUSPENSION BRACKET

Having swapped over to straps for now I was thinking of making my own adjustment system,
While considering options I thought I could perhaps use some Dutch Buckles as part of it since I'm not using woopies for the present.
This is what I came up with using some right angle aluminium from another project. It allows easy hammock attachment, allows my full Underquilt to attach too, provides drip stop and it light too. also the buckles let you store the coiled strap.
just thought I would share with you fellow hammockers.

Interesting piece of work and maybe unique. Good photos too.

Well been reworking this and now have it as a single piece with two slots.
Narrowed the slots a little and the pinch from the hammock holds up fine
It works well and have slept out a couple of times with no slippage.
It would be easy enough to loop back through the top slop if slippage it was a concern
Hope someone finds it of interest.IMG_1215.jpgIMG_1216.JPGIMG_1218.JPGIMG_1219.jpg
