Gravey is coming out Thursday Evening and I'm thinking about it as well if anyone else wants to join. Last time for the No UQ Hang, I came out Thursday Evening and it was a wonderful hike in with cool breeze, no overhead Sun, Lightning bugs in the prairie at twilight. It was magical. May do it again.

Whoo cant wait for this hang. With the evenings starting to become not miserable, its only adding to the excitement. Life hasn't really thrown me a chance to properly hang since the beginning of the summer and Gosh Darn-it I miss it. Got some fancy new gear to try out and a new GoPro to do some filming!

If anyone is debating on joining us on this hang, please do. We have a blast. Just make SURE you soak your gear in permetherin. Bugs of various types will carry you away.

I just got an email this morning that the installer had to postpone. So I can make it, hiking in from Pats Friday late afternoon to Saturday late afternoon.

Sorry to hear your going to miss the trip. Hoping for a fast recovery from your surgery. My wife is 13 days past her surgery is walking up our stairs daily after day 9.

As the days get closer I am getting more and more excited. This morning was gorgeous! 70 degrees clear sky, made me want to be in the woods! Bad news is I won’t have my new setup before this hang, good news is I am hanging with the old stuff! Can’t wait to see y’all out there.

I have been looking up back woods recipes for my new jet boil any one have a good recipe they want to share?

Gads, I only have about a week to prepare! It has been a long time since I hung anywhere but in the back yard. Speaking of food, there will be a camp fire Friday evening right? I think I will pack a foil dinner. I am SOOOO looking forward to getting out in the woods.
The essential part of me can not be discussed here. Ask me in person.

You got jus a little over a month to heal and be ready for olddog's planned hike in November at Arbuckel. As far as this hang, I'm still weighing my options of Pond vs Mountains.
