I visited my parents in Ukraine and for sure I had my hammock setup with me. To sleep on their backyard (they have a room with a big couch but most people here will understand me) and to walk into the forest. I went to the forest at evening, then was walking the entire day (just 15 miles, but I tried to avoid any roads and footpaths by walking directly through the forest and by using firebreaks as footpaths) and I spent one more night in the forest.
I grew up there, but when I was a kid there were swamps almost everywhere. Now it's dry. Just a couple of dying creeks. Global warming is real.
