Well, shoot. I tore a hole in my bug net.

I somehow managed to tear a small hole in the bug net on my brand new wbbb. I am going to attempt to sew on a patch with noseeum mesh that I ordered from ripstop by the roll, yet I've never done this sort of repair before so I'm open to suggestions on how to proceed.

Clear tenacious tape (rounded corners) on both sides of the hole and call it a day.

You can sew this up in 10 minutes. No patch required.

If you have access to an embroidery hoop it will help keep the fabric stretched smooth for you to sew it back up evenly. Then yes 10 min fix with needle and thread.

But this IS a new hammock. I guess I'm not very good at taking care of them.
