I also have a Flex Capacitor. I like how clean it is for travel, say as luggage or strapped to motorbike. But no exterior mesh. I just ordered a PackBack, which i had designed in my head before Dutch made it. I should charge him royalties.

I'm wanting to order a FC but everywhere including Sierra Designs is out of stock for my size. It may be because they're waiting for the update to drop in spring. I'm just getting back into backpacking after several decades out of the game and I have a "tacticool" pack I could use for short jaunts in a pinch but need the bigger capacity of a real pack like the FC.
Sorry for the derail!
How does it attach to the pack?

Neat little accessory. What weight is the mesh? I think it would be nice to offer another version that has the bottom 1/4 (with some drainage ports) made from light weight dyneema to make it more abrasion resistant and durable. Most of the heavier and pokier items you place in there will work their way to the bottom and eventually rip the netting.

added bonus- at camp take it off and use it as a head bug net.
A true optimist is someone that plants two acorns and buys a hammock.
Latherdome is from Oregon. They don't even know what a mosquito is. .

Dutch- I beg to differ. Two of my worst mosquito nightmares happened in Oregon. One was on a ridge east of Lake of the Woods in southern Oregon and the other at Wahtum Lake in northern Oregon. I remember getting eaten alive like it was yesterday- we didn't have netting or repellant (young and dumb). This was nearly 50 years ago.
