    Split Ridgeline with Dutchware

How can I set up a split ridgeline using Dutchware? I can't find a complete instructions anywhere. I can find some mention of using either a wasp or flyz, but I can't find anything on what to use on the other side.

How is the wasp/flyz attached to the tarp? This video shows how to lock the line after it is wrapped around the tree, but how is the other end of the line attached to the loop on the tarp?

Would you use a wasp on both ends? Or something else on one end?

I attach flyz via split rings. I use a Dutch hook on the other end, wrap around the tree and connect the hook to the line.

For a split ridge line I use stingerz. They connect to the tarp via a biner like side then the adjustment/locking side is like a wasp or fly. I think my zingit lengths I use are 18 feet maybe.

I think most people who use a split ridgeline use Dutch Stingerz.

My preference is to go with wasps or flyz on both ends. 7:38 in video below.
But there are many ways to do it with Dutchware.

+1 on the Stingerz. I don't know of anything easier and I like the "v" so that my hammock suspension never brushes against the line.

I just attached it to ridgeline guyline as shown by Dutch. And I just leave it attached.

Please PM me beforehand, if you want to go the Stingerz route. I may have a ready to go set for you.

I use the Tarp Flyz, but do it exactly like Shug uses the Wasp. I think the advantage of using Flyz or Wasp instead of Stingerz is the adjustability. Most of the time, I keep the Flyz (Fly?) close to the tarp. This allows the line to go around the tree and back to the Flyz, forming a nice "V" loop for my hammock suspension to pass through. If I get in a situation where the trees are really big or very far apart, I can slide the Flyz way closer to the tree. This gives up the "V", but gains a bunch of line to allow you to increase the span.
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

I use the same setup. I have replaced three of my tarp setups with the Flyz used in this way. By far my preferred setup at the moment.
