Question Permanently Attaching Line to Stakes

When tying guyline to a stake for the purpose of leaving it on there permanently, is a bowline good enough?

A bowline is the perfect "leave it forever" knot because it doesn't tend to come untied, but at the same time it's always easy to undo it even years later.

Awesome, thanks! That's what I have been doing, but the endless need to fiddle is sometimes hard to resist

You could also tie a bowline in the cord by itself and then larks head that on the stake, but you need a slightly bigger hole to fit two strands through. You would make it easier to change out stakes if you carry different kinds for different soil types.
