They would have to completely redo how the net is attached to do so. I find the spindrift to be an amazing piece of gear for the RR. Plus, the spindrift protects enough to allow for a smaller tarp to be used since in covers the top and bottom portion of the RR. If you've never tried one, you should give it a go!

I love my Spindrift. I am Claustrophobic, can't stand being zipped in. I use a netless hammock because I just hate being enclosed.

As stated above try the RR with the Spindrift and it will be clear why a zip on winter cover cover is not desirable. In addition moisture would be a problem.

I bought a second net-less RR for The Terminator to used with her Spindrift ( older 2 door model with the spreader bars going on the inside ). Lots of room inside of that thing.

Maybe Brandon can offer an option where there is a bug net that be used along with the regular doors....something like the Mecks used on some of their ENVYS Hammeck that had a top cover that also had a bug net door

I guess I missed the discussion on RR, Spindrift & bug net. I thought the discussion is in regard to a Winter Cover. Like some vendors are selling. Ridgerunner uses the Spindrift for Winter.

When I had a netted RR I used the RR with the net deployed with my Spindrift. Ironfish77 draped noseeum over the open doors. She added little weights to hold the no-see-um pannel down.

On the subject of Intigrated Winter Cover each of my RR have been a bit different. So making a Winter Cover would probably add a significant amout to the mfg. cost. Plus condensation is a problem when you are tightly enclosed.

Interesting how experienced RR user's consider Winter Cover vs. Warbonnet's Spindrift.
