    Superior National Forest canoe trip

Attached are some pics taken on my canoe trip just north east of Finland MN, with a mix of hammocks and tents. This is a group of three fathers and three daughters that have been canoe camping for eight years but last year my back got the best of me, starting my hammock journey. Three nights of hanging in my chameleon was great, and my back is feeling a-ok. Hammocks, tarps under/top quilts, not matter how expensive are much cheaper than chiropractor and doctor visits!

Also, I did listen closely during various parts of my trip, but try as I might, I didn't detect any distant "whoooo buddy"

Was the picnic table hard to balance on the canoe or portage with?

    Very nice pictures!!

Glad you enjoyed your new camping lifestyle and passed the test of restful sleeping hammock style.

Some criminal out on the AT in PA falsified a few Whoooo Buddy's, but no one at the shelter knew what it meant. Ground huggers. :: shrug ::
