Double hang with the Granddaughter tonight

My Granddaughter has been pretend camping for long enough, so I promised her i would take hammock camping when she turned 6. Well the time has come! Little back yard camp out tonight will be a lot of fun for her, and if she gets scared we can always head inside. I set up two different stands in close proximity, and the Superfly covers both hammocks nicely for a mild summer night.
I have her set up in my complete DIY rig. I haven’t used that rig in a while, but of course had to get in to make sure it was good to go. I had forgotten how comfy it is! It’s a double layer 1.1 oz ripstop homemade hammock, straps with double steel rings for suspension, and a bottom entry bugnet made from curtain sheers per the tutorial someone posted on YouTube...forgot how nice that is as well.

Anyway, should be a fun time tonight!

Worlds greatest Grandpa, your Granddaughter is gonna have a memorable overnight camp
Are you gonna cook a bit on a fire or picnic it?

Probably just some marshmallows over the fire...and maybe some not too scary ghost stories!

Hopefully your temps and humidity are better than ours and it is a pleasant experience.

73 and muggy right now, but supposed to drop to about 67 I think.

The granddaughter lasted about 15 minutes before she wanted to go in the house, LOL...That’s okay though, we’ll try it again.
