    0.77 oz MTN Strength

I was browsing around the site today and noticed that the 0.77 oz MTN Silnylon had the same listed strength as the new MONOLITE Mesh fabric: Warp (1.6 lbF), Weft (3 lbF).

Is this accurate? Would it be technically possible to make a hammock out of this Silnylon (nevermind how wise of an idea this would be ).

As long you don't mind having a disposable hammock that could rip any second as you sweat profusely, go for it.

Is there an aspect of strength/durability that's not accurately communicated by the warp/weft specifications? I assume there must be, but those are the only numbers I could find from RSBTR.

Call or text RipStopByTheRoll, I’m sure they will be glad to share specs on fabrics, when you ask and might even advise on its best uses
Tell them about what you want and they might recommend a different fabric

Yeah that's not correct. My apologies and we'll get those numbers updated in the morning. If you're looking for a comparison, the MTN 7D sil has about 2x the tear strength of the 0.9 oz MEMBRANE Silpoly.
