Between the heat and humidity making being outside a sweaty mess, hurricane preps both at work and home, and the hurricane itself (anticlimactic here aside from some gusts and a lot of rain thankfully) I've only hung the tarp once and not very well since I'd never done it before.

Initially I was shocked at how light the tarp is, especially compared to the 11' xenon hex tarp I bought for my son from Dutchwaregear, then I was floored at how thin and transparent the dyneema is. I've never messed with the modern materials before, they're really something.

The weather should break soon and get cooler, once that happens I'll have a few nap sessions in the back yard and go on some local backpacking excursions to test everything out.

    So far I'm really impressed.

Here's my hang in my "campground" just off my back yard. I'm thinking about painting a couple of white blazes on the trees lol:

Here's how thin the material looks:

And you can just make out the shape of the back of my house probably 40 yards or so away through the material:

And I think it's going to be perfect if the occasional stealth hang is necessary:

Such great pictures! We hope you enjoy the tarp for years to come! Glad to hear you're safe from the hurricane.
