It has almost taken a year to get to where we are but now that we got these we can work out the bugs and make it as user friendly as possible.

So what is the ideal image size to use. I have a few images I would love to print but when adjusting the image in the design tool it cuts some of the top and sides out. I would like to use as much of the photo as possible. Also when I upload the photo it puts a check mark under fair but when I resize the photo to fit the pillow it checks poor. Does this mean it will be a poor image quality on the pillow once printed?

I find the criteria for what it calls a poor quality image is really a pretty good image. This is especially true for the pillow. However as the image gets bigger and we will be doing this for tarps and hammocks, the image has to go from small to very big. Then the quality of the original image is extremely important. You do get to preview your final image so you are a better judge of the quality of the final image. Even our high def stock images get a poor rating through the site. However in that case we use our original image which is a huge file, and the quality will be as good as possible.

For the other questions, I invite you to email my graphic designer and he will be able to address them better than I can. [email protected]

That design studio can be found right here...https://dutchwaregear.com/product/fabric-studio/
I invite everyone to come in and play around. There are many ways to edit your image and make it yours. Now we are going a step further, after you design your print, you can see how it will look on your gear. We are starting with the pillow and our rain skirt for now but one by one we will be adding this to all our products. Imagine the tarps, Chameleons, and pack covers with your personal touches on it.
So I was at Mt St Helen's yesterday. This is the picture I got on a fairly clear day...

Here is the same image after I put it through the design studio for the pillow...

Now that pillow doesn't actually exist. We are showing you what your image would look like when the finished product is done. Now you are in control so get in there and play around. Email us if you have any questions but it is pretty easy and with a little practice you will be able to design all kinds of cool prints.
This is just the beginning of something that will be really big. Have fun and play around with it. It is free for you to download and adjust the images to see them on the final products.
Here is the link to the pillow...

    Here is the rain skirt...

Has the Design Studio been discontinued? No reference to it on dutchwaregear.com anymore and this like results in a Page Not Found error:

I wanted to order up a custom printer winter tarp....
