From what I remember seeing, it was nothing too crazy, as you mentioned. He's just passionate about his business and some of his posts reflected that in a way that may have slightly crossed the line of forum decorum.

Lawson sells awesome stuff. Made in USA. Dutch sells similar cord too, made in China. So there were some feelings there that got a little heated.

I've been using Zpacks stuff and don't see a reason to change, but I think I will just because. Some nice colors too (non-reflective). 2.5 is too thick for me, so 2mm it is!

I'll order some of the 2.5 for my LineLoc 3s. I've always had good service and a quality product from him. I think that the glowire is more reflective than anything else that I have seen (if that is what you are into). I was just curious. He seemed passionate in the quotes that I have seen from him.

    Thanks for the insight.

I don't need more cord, but I ordered some anyway. I like Lawson's cord, and I often feel like the 3mm is too big but the 2mm seems to abrade quickly. Maybe 2.5mm will be the sweet spot

Thanks for the head up on this! Just ordered a 50 foot hank to try this out, and ordered some lineloc 3’s on loops from z packs to install on my tarp corners.

I got mine today, and it looks pretty good, as Lawson's cord usually does. It's a lot less bulky than the 3mm.

Lawson's a no ******** kinda guy. He called some behavior out. Nothing objectionable but the Forum has an "If you can't say something nice" rule when one vendor talks about another.

I don't think he is banned - his name is Mountainfitter on the forums.

Mountainfitter (Lawson's handle on HF) is not banned but he can not post as a vendor here as he does not meet the qualifications of being a vendor. (want to know the qualifications? see the TOS link in my signature) He is however welcome to post as a member as long as he is in no way responding to comments on or about his products.

Please return to discussing the new Lawson products rather than the vendor or posts will be removed as off topic.

    Thank you.
