    Hammock Sun Shade

Was trying to take a Sunday morning snooze in the ol' Ridgerunner and the sun was in my eyes. I thought, "We just celebrated the 50th anniversary of putting a man on the Moon, certainly there's someway to block the sun without a tarp." (Because you know how hot it can get under a tarp in the sun!) I'm probably not the first to do something like this, but I couldn't remember any posts I'd seen with this idea so...
    BTW it worked surprisingly good!

First iteration, piece of blue CCF pad held onto bugnet by clothes pins.

Then I thought, "NASA, they do shiny, I need to do shiny." Remembered I had some Reflectix in the garage and cut me a piece of that. With this I could actually feel a temperature reduction in the shade of it. Looks like a solar panel.

    I like this idea.
I haven't got any Tyvek lying around but I do have a silver windshield sunshade that'll do the job.
    Thanks for sharing.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Way to use your Yankee Ingenuity. Hammockers are the best at "McGuyvering" a solution to a problem.
