Long time lurker, first time poster

    Hello everyone.

New hanger here. I received a Explorer Deluxe ZIP XL a few years back as a gift with the best of intentions of getting out (insert excuses here).

This week, I finally made it out.

Tree huggers were too short with the trees that were at the site but with the lashing video in my mind, all went well. I think the trees were either too close or too far with the huggers I have but no excuses this time. I slept fairly well with a DD under blanket and a DD quilt. Should have had a pillow or something to support my head off the fabric.

Good job with the lashing; those are large trees indeed. Glad to see you decided to post and decided to hang.
    Cheers.

Welcome. Glad to see another Hennessey dusted off and doing it's job. We have a few faithful Hennessey fans here on HF.
Yes a small pillow or wad up a light jacket/sweatshirt. I use a stuffsack with some extra UL hammock insulation in it or whatever else I have along.
